The department has recently started using Apple Macintosh computers to teach both multimedia design and programming.

There are three labs of G5 PowerMac computers in the new John Dalton central block for use by students in the department. These are room C2.05, C3.04 and C3.05

C3.04 and C3.05 both are setup for teaching Java programming using Netbeans IDE along with BlueJ. C2.05 has these programs and also specialist multimedia software; Adobe Photoshop CS, Macromedia Director and Macromedia Flash. A full list of software is available.

Students can access these computers using their standard departmental username and password.
